Most of the VC games are pretty small. It's the N64 games and WiiWare games that hog memory.

Anyway, the easiest solution is to beat them then delete them. You can re-download any purchased game for free if you get the itch to play them again.

 

Don't forget about Neo-Geo games hogging a lot of space also.  I also have a few turbo grafix games that seem to require a lot more memory than SNES/Genesis.  Like everyone said you can either get a SD card or redownload.  If you stick with NES/SNES/Genesis games you can fit a ton of games on the Wii.
