Yes Im not to sure why its so expensive. It may have something to do with monopolies enjoyed by local providers.
Remember the UK prior to deregulation? You used British Telecom or you didnt have a phone.
Well imagine how expensive broadband may be if that was still the case.
As for the low speeds that is just inexplicable.
I could if I wanted get 8 Mb/s in my home for less than 10 GBP / 15 USD per month.
The best I can currently receive is 20 Mb/s for 15 GBP / 23 USD per month.
At that speed a 7 GB game would download in 45 mins
