Problem is, you're carefully avoiding measurable statements because you know they can't be challenged easily. If you say "KZ2 is the most hyped PS3 game ever", there's no effective way to measure that, we could try to count the number of threads, the hits in the database, the number of KZ avatars, the number of times someone said "KZ2 will be huge", but in the end, there's no way to measure it, so in the end, the argument holds no place as it can't be verified.

The only time you provided something that can be measured, you were proved wrong

Proved wrong?

This entire thread I maintained that Sony fans have overhyped this game.  You took a sample of EVERYONE and used it in an attempt to undermine my argument, completely ignoring the specifications I made.

I'll give you a hint.  There are people in this thread, indeed in this very discussion, who will ALWAYS argue with EVERYTHING I have to say regardless of how correct it may be.  If they cannot win an argument, they attempt to reframe what I am saying.  I strongly suggest you do not join their ranks.

There shouldn't be an issue here.  I haven't actually said anything remotely controversial.  These people simply take my existence in a thread as an offense to their Sony-coloured vision.  I guess they just view me as a vent for their frustrations

Which is another vacuous statement, as it can't be tested. You can say all what you want, but if you can't prove what you say, you can't hold an argument. And people have every right to challenge you. If I say something like "the Wii is pure shovelware" (not that you said anything like that), people will argue with me. In the end, this is a forum. If you wanna state something, be prepared to defend it. This is what we call a "discussion".

So, you got your theory. People are asking you to prove it, and you haven't. That's all I'm saying

This is why you don't argue with Starcraft.  He lives in speculation world.  He makes comments that cannot be proven incorrect or correct, and when he does, like when he supplied the thread, he's proven to be silly.  Just like his argument about how JRPGs can't sell on the PS3, and WKC proved that wrong in one fell swoop, he still maintined (and still will maintain) that he never said it couldn't, but hadn't proven itself to (Which are essentially one in the same).  He'll never admit that he was/is wrong about anything because he makes sure to never be clear in what he is trying to say.  That's why there is  no point in even directly responding to his posts.  In the future, it is best for him to come into a thread, say whatever the fuck he wants to, then ignore his comments completely, as this is the usual outcome of any thread he posts in.
