Why come out with a Wii version of Hawx one year later?

Wii does seem to be the place for (often crappy) spinoffs, and Dead Space is far from the only example. Soul Calibur Legends, Castlevania Judgment, RE: UC, and Rayman Raving Rabbids demonstrate that your trend is already well underway.

Don't forget Dead Rising. Not really a spin-off but an "updated" version of an old game, which happens to be crappy too. And of course Dead Rising 2 has already been announced for PS360.
