I reckon the Wii won't game won't be the same game as the 360 PS3 one. Alot of companies seem to be doing this with the Wii at the moment, have their franchise main series release every 2 years on PS360 and then have a spin-off type thing every other year between.

Like er, Dead Space. Okay, thats the only example, but i'm calling the start of a trend!

Wii does seem to be the place for (often crappy) spinoffs, and Dead Space is far from the only example. Soul Calibur Legends, Castlevania Judgment, RE: UC, and Rayman Raving Rabbids demonstrate that your trend is already well underway.

RRR is probably not a good example since it started multi-platform and then stayed on the Wii because it was fun there (and sold there). One that didn't get listed was Samurai Warriors Katana -- but I am not sure if that is a spin-off or a bad port. Still, the point is well taken.

What really gets me is when a game idea seems like a natural for the Wii -- and it is done for the other consoles. I am thinking specifically of Civilization Revolution, which was "delayed" on the Wii because of resources. It sold only 1.11M between the Xbox 360 and PS3. I would think it would have made more money just going to the Wii and maybe even sold more too.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
