Why are people so threatened by the Wii?

I want to see how far developers can push the envelope in terms of getting people to interact with each other. Imagine if they can make a game like twister but combine it with video gaming elements. To me that is cutting edge stuff. Social gaming is an area that has yet to be truly exploited.

 Thats awesome. It is not my cup of tea but I will agree that would be an area of gamin that gets pushed. I would like to come across a party game I cannot resist playing.
