I figured out why 3rd parties hesitate to put their best teams on Wii games

You know that games on Wii have a lot more potential to sell a lot as long as the game has appeal, right? Wii has almost 50% of the marketshare.

 

you said it well... almost 50%... it has vgchartz numbers say 48.9%... meaning that ps360 has 51.1%... i wold prefer to program to an more advance platform with 51% rather to an "older platform" with 49% of market share... that alone... if you think that 1st party are the top sellers in the 49% market share platform and 3rd party dont have much room to get big there... they whisely chose the 51% platfrom....
