okay, right.  i will retract my 'second largest franchise' statment but i stand by my point.  I took a quick look at the sales for halo3 - first week:3.8M LTD:9.1M.  to be tracking under hz2 which is around 0.75M+ according to brett is still sad to me.

Halo 3's first week was 900k ... and not 3.8M

well 0.75M is kz2's WW figure and halo wars is tracking under that.  so i guess i was extending the european behaviour to america behaviour which may not be fair. we'll find out soon enough but i still thought the halo name would carry halo wars more than it did...

I think the Halo Wars sales were fair, considering it had no hype and relatively little advertising. Also, these sales should factor in that it has yet to be released in NA, the 360's stronghold.
