Oblivion, Fable 2, Mass Effect, and Fallout 3 have all done over 2 million so I'm calling bullshit on this right now. 

If we're to assume that you mean JRPGs by your square-enix dig then I still have to call bullshit as Lost Odyssey is closing in on one million, but the highset selling PS3 jrpg is well short of 500k, despite the massive install base advantage in Japan.

 

Are you by any chance referring to the one that has only been released in Japan? You know the difference in the two games? Lost Odyssey is approaching 1 million Worldwide and WKC is 1/3 of the way there in Japan alone. Also, it's only a little less than a 2 million console difference in sales, that's not exactly that commanding of a lead.

I was referring to VC since the database shows it slightly ahead of WKC.  It's true that so far WKC is only out in Japan, but I wouldn't bet on it putting up huge WW numbers.

That 2 million unit advantage means there are 3x as many PS3's as 360's, why doesn't the PS3 sell 3x as many JRPG's?
