Once again, my interest in a game has been totally killed by the demo...

I can't see how the basic gameplay elements would vary significantly.  Also, it's not like I've sworn off buying these games forever, but it would take a severely reduced price for me to consider it (as mentioned).

Things do vary a little between the demo's and the games. Its been a long time since I've played those demos specificially that were mentioned in the OP but some of them a rental would help out a lot more. Uncharted is a great game but it may very well just not be your type of game. Which there's nothing wrong with that.

I was fully expecting to love Uncharted, but the gunplay totally turned me off.  Out of the games listed, though, that's the most likely to be purchased at a lower price.
