But this game never left japan.  I just mean like... the title is in roman letters.  I guess "english" was a bad choice of words.

I mean didn't Seiken Densetsu 2 say Seiken Densetsu 2 rather then be in Kanji?

 

no it didn't, but the Japanese like to use English words when they are making a title because it is supposed to sound cooler.  It has nothing to do with translating it into different langauges.
