^That people feel so much pride in being a PS3 owner that they will work hard to buy one, as if it were a Ferrari!
Actually, if they continued to price it that high, they could have marketed it as a "console for noblemen", showing people in posh suits playing a PS3! That's upstreaming for you, just like Swarovski diamonds.
