Luckly I had a preorder from Gampestop, and they opened for a midnight launch as well. The sad news is that they had 33 preorders for the game, and they only ordered 33 copies. They said that they had to turn down 9 people that had waited in the cold. I hope that this did not happen all arcoss the US. If I would not have got my copy tonight I would have been pissed enough to say F*^( it, and not get the game for a while. So someone that was not looking at this as a major event may not buy the game now. Hopefully the numbers don't prove that this was the case all across the US. |
Wait, wait wait... They opened for a midnight launch to sell an abosolute maximum of... 33 copies? Is that a joke? Especially considering a lot of the pre-orderers would be waiting until later in the day.
