no idea for first day, but first week for Yakuza1 was 133k and for Yakuza2 285k

this series seems to follow the trend of many other franchises that become more top-heavy with every iteration, so even if the first week of Yakuza3 might best both of them it doesn't have to mean, that it has higher lifetime sales
