I think the mediocre reviews didn't help as well. This type of game needed to have garnered extremely positive reviews in order to stand a chance of being noticed by general public. The game is definitely better than a lot of crap thats on the system but it's hard to convince people to buy it when there's no great selling point.
hopefully it'll have some legs and cross 100K.. maybe ..
