Anyway, no company will go all out next-gen. Nintendo proved it's not worth it. Microsoft probably the most, because they're most rooted in the "shootercore/graphiccore" audience. The "razorblade" model will likely also dissapear. There will certainly be a major leap in power, but nothing like this gen. Next gen PC's will earn their rightful place as the place for the best graphics again.

Also: Nintendo will likely start next gen with a lot of 3rd party support. I expect at least Sony, whose userbase is traditionaly less based on the "shootercore" than Microsoft, to try and get near the next Wii in power, so 3rd parties will make their games multiplat on PS4 as well.

Sony simply doesn't have the money to compete with Microsoft. And a situation where: Xbox3>>>>PS4>>>>>>WiiHD will be disastrous for everyone, especially 3rd parties. So Sony has to choose: stay close to Nintendo or stay close to Microsoft. I know what makes more business sense.
