I don't know what would happen. I certainly wouldn't be attacking you personally for that post. To make your point a bit better, I guess you should bash some other game than Mario Kart. Mario Galaxy maybe? Wasn't there a recent post about some guy that hated that game and couldn't spin attack properly? Yeah... I read that one. I did think that was quite weird as I could put it off so easily. I don't think I posted anything about it though. Just thought his comment was weird. I kind of think that the direction you actually want to go with your post is: would a similar reaction happen? Maybe. If it did, would it be from lousy fanboys? Probably. Would they be any better than kz2 fanboys? No. dbot, i can see you like killzone2. That's fine man. But don't act as if you're in a pack of wolves and don't defend the fanboys. When I attack fanboys (and I will again and again because some really make me sick for ruining this forum), you don't have to associate with them. This is not aimed at all kz2 fans, just the immature ones that ruinned this thread. You can love kz2 and they can love kz2 and you can still be such a better person than they are. |
I don't know if I like Killzone or not. I liked the demo and will be buying the game tomorrow. My point is it is ok to say you dislike a game. The problem with this thread is the op didn't really present a very good case. Many of his issues didn't really make sense. All next gen fps's move with L3 and control the camera with R3, etc. If he said the gameplay was generic, the story sucked, or the acting was horrible. Those would be valid concerns, but to say the game sucked because he couldn't figure out how to switch the contoller layout. That's really not going to go unnoticed.
My point to you is don't call everyone fanboys because they point out obvious things to the op. He can dislike the game, but people that have played the game are entitled to state their opinions as well. It seems to me that you didn't read the whole thread and just assumed the op was getting trolled for no good reason, and that is obviously not the case :).
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
