Are the PSP 2 and the PSP 4000 going to be the same product?

Yeah, looks like it's only PSP-4000.

 

However, according to this respectable JP site ( http://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/2009/0226/kaigai492.htm )  -  PSP2  is in development, and will feature much  more memory AND will be DD only.
