Yes...a 2D Metroid with 3D models. They need to get rid of scanning. Am I the only one who doesn't like this part of the game?

 

I liked Fusion and Zero Mission a lot, and I'd love to see more 2D Metroids, but I also loved all three Primes, and I'd love to see more 3D Metroids as well.  IMO there's no such thing as too much Metroid.  :)

You're not the only one who dislikes scanning, but I'm not the only one who likes it either.  It makes you an active participant in the story.

 

I like how the scanning integrates the story, but they have you scanning a MILLION things. And I hate finishing the game and it says 99%, doesn't feel like I've finished it. Then you realize you can't scan that thing because you killed it. Even if the scan is there...it's far far away. Maybe they can make less scans.... I am okay with half a million.
