Maybe I'm getting old, but I agree with this comment 100%. Playing shooters online is fun but the reason why games like GoldenEye and Perfect Dark were so great was that is was you and some friends together talking all kinds of crap while you were shooting each other. I know people are going to say that's what a headset is for, but it's not the same. Gaming started out as a social interaction and some people would like it to retain some of this kind of fun. It doesn't always have to be a party game
. IMO All FPS should have local multiplayer. When a game doesn't have it, I look at it as a sign of the developer being lazy (this is most of them recently).
