Hmm, I'm thinking demos aren't going to have a significant effect on game sales. Somebody could just as easily not buy a game after playing the demo as opposed to making the purchase. You could also have a situation where somebody plays a demo which they really love and decides to cancel the purchase of another game and instead wait for the release of the game they've just experienced.
It may boost sales a bit but again, imo, nothing significant. You've also got to remember that 360/PS3 games are more expensive than Wii's which could hurt sales more than demos help them.
Finally, devs don't really care which console has the highest attach rate they care which one sells most games, end of story.
