I disagree. I don't think the staggered launch kills total sales, just one console's. I mean, if you launch both systems at once, it gives people the chance to opt for the PS3 version, true. But chances are they're just taking from the 360's sales. If only say 200k people that want it have ONLY a PS3, and the rest have both... they can just as easily slash the budget to focus on the 360 version, and make the same amount with less effort.

But then is there really a purpose in making a PS3 version later, as they did with the original Lost Planet? The whole idea behind going multiplatform, whether simultaneous or not, is that being on more platforms = more sales.
