I was in from the Base Set time. My deck centered around getting Arcanine, Rhydon or Machamp out. It wasn't a particularly strong deck, but I had fun with it. I got one of the Jungle theme decks too (the Khangaskan one).
I stopped then for a few years, but then I bought a theme deck like 2 years ago and played it again for a year before stopping.
I've always enjoyed it. The GBC game got me hooked........I wish they made a DS version. That would be wicked.
