Sony: Record Growth & Momentum for Playstation in 09

i dont go on reviews and admittedly i side with the ps3 slightly more, but there were only 2, games and 1 xbl game that were worth a purchase- gears2, fable2 and braid.

on the ps3 there was mgs4, r2, uncharted, lbp and ms:pr and on psn we had pixeljunk eden, gt5p and wipeout hd.

as you say metacritic may rate the 360games as being better but having played uncharted, its just as good as gears but wasnt rated as well. mspr is unique and better then pure and it was rated lower to its inferior predecessor. r2 was miles ahead of r1 and its online and co-op mode tones better and bigger then gears but was dumbed down on reviews. last but not least, psn may not release as many titles, but they are miles ahead in quality and originality. its no secret that many ps3 games last year were scored lower, it has been talked about over and over on forums all over. any gamer who owns the 2 consoles will tell you that. therefore yes, sony did have a better line up last year.

in regards to the article in question, it takes a numbnut to transelate it wrong. all the man said is they will have a better year this compared to last. lets look at y he may say so:
1. possible price cut
2. kz2
3. uncharted2
4. infamous
5 heavy rain
6. lbp for the psp
7. possible gt5p,
8. possible gow3
9. eye pet for the casual market
10. yakuza3
11. extra support for home from the likes of capcom, ea and sega and many others
12. hybrid blu ray movies/games

anyone doubting the above is either ignorant or just plain stupid. all the above points have what it takes to make the ps3 more appealing then it is as well as offer services or products that are not in existence on any rival platform. y anyone has taken the mans words out of context or added their own fanboyish spice to it is beyond me just as any sony fanboy saying gears isnt all that and fable2 was average- the common denomitor being BULLSHIT.

its time fanboys grew up and realised it is not brands which got them into gaming but games and therefore it would be logical to be a gamer than a fanboy trying to add political spin to what is meant to be ENTERTAINMENT!
