Shouldn't Sony be pushing more development towards the PS3 that needs a push instead of there pirated, software sink hole known as the PSP?

Because BigBig are a PSP developer, and we don't know who is making LBP PSP, though it is not just MM. Anyway, Sony can't just abondon the PSP, God of War CoO managed to sell 1.5m on it, which is certainly not bad. Sony's main development studios are still Naughty Dog and Insomniac and they will continue to focus on the PS3 (though Insomniac are forming a satellite studio which could do PSN stuff)

Sony can't abandon the PSP?  Why not?  Its not making them money and the software isn't keeping anyone around.(clearly there last game to chart was LAST YEAR.) 

So now youv got another system in dire need OF support now being having less time on the market  VS handheld thats not selling software and people are buying it for other uses than gaming.

They can't turn around now on the PS3 it needs a steady flow of software.  Not go backwards to the system that clearly being dead in the water for a while.

They have plenty of software coming for the PS3, and the PSP is profitable, it is the PS3 that is causing the loss.

The PS3 has tons of support. It is lacking a few RPGs and that is it. Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank, inFamous, Killzone 2, WKC and Final Fantasy XIII (Japan) all games 100% guaranteed for 2009, + Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Heavy Rain and MAG all posibilities for 2009, I wouldn't call that bad support at all

The PSP now has Disidea Final Fantasy, Resistance Retribution, Locoroco and Patapon 2s (depending on location), MotorStorm PSP, LBP PSP, AC PSP, not bad either! And of course hopefully KH BBS for Japan at least, possibly KZ Lib 2 and probably something from High Impact Entertainment

These recent announcements have given the PSP 2 must have extra games for me, and I am grateful for that, I already have enough PS3 games coming this christmas to keep me busy
