Mario is bigge yes, but Masterchief probably surpassed Sonic & Link as far as popularity goes...
I'm a Halo hater, but my nephew of 12 and all of his classmates played Halo and Masterchief goes hand in hand with gaming today....
Just the old-skool gamers that don't really see the popularity that surrounds Halo...
Masterchief is only 2nd to Mario tbh...
