GG is already working on new maps for DLC that they plan on releasing right after the game launches. Let us hope they are as good as the ones described in the OP.
I think this game is going to have a great multiplayer. I haven't really gotten into a multiplayer shooter since UT3 and Goldeneye before that. I just hope this game is the next one to suck me in.
