It's hard to pick which game(s) I'd recommend someone, because it entirely depends on their tastes...

If my mom came up to me and asked me why she should want a PS3, I sure as hell wouldn't be mentioning KZ2 or MGS4 to her, she doesn't like playing those kinds of games.
