Because it's a generic shooter. That's why it's meh. There is really nothing special or amazing about it aside from what it's doing on the Wii. I'm getting it for the online, personally, but in no way do I think it's the greatest thing ever created. However, I do respect the devs for the massive effort they've put into the game which can be scarce on Wii.
