Gears and not God of War deserves the acronym GOW.

I say we go with "Cogs of War", since cogs are sorta like gears, or they go hand-in-hand, you know, and then the acronym is more distinct.

Its settled then. GoW == God of War. CoW == Cogs/Gears of War.  Another critically important issue resolved, at last, by beer.
