Well, going against my gaming habits of past generations, I only own a PS3 at the moment. To be honest, I dislike the 360 with a vengeance (due to its flagship games, its mother company and the infamous RROD) and I've always found the Wii to be a rather silly console (yes, I've played it).
Up until now. With games like Arc Rise Fantasia, No More Heroes and Disaster: Day of Crisis whispering softly in my year how badly they want to be played by me, I feel I must explore the subject that originates my opinion of the Wii: its rather imprecise controller (remember, this is my opinion; keep your flamethrowers in your panties please; this applies to whatever you read in this post).
And so this thread exists for the sole purpose of asking if the upcoming Wii Motion Plus, with its delicious 1 : 1 movement precision, will do anything to improve the game experience on current games. I still cringe in pain when I remember trying to play Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and the god damned reticule was all over the place. The concept of the console is an excellent one, but to me the execution has failed to deliver on its promises and potential.
Thank you for reading my rant. Comments, suggestions and well wishing are appreciated.
