A lot of people do think the Wii is a fad (of course, not on this site). Almost everyone that I know (in real life) that has one, is not a console/pc gamer. They're parents or 10 year olds. 3. The only time I've ever enjoyed the Wii was while drunk. When sober, it bores me to tears. Why is that? 4. Why would I want to play Wii golf in my living room when I can play real golf with my friends in the warm sun? Why would I want to play Wii bowling in my living room when I could play real bowling with my girlfriend at the bowling alley? etc, you get the idea... 5. HDTVs are becoming cheaper and cheaper. As more get sold people will want to buy a console capable of HD gaming. Blu Ray and HDDVDs are selling more and more, people will want to watch HD movies which the Wii also can't do. Right now the Wii is the "it" thing among non gamers. It's the hip thing for older adults to get so they can play someting other then scategories or win, lose, or draw when they get together with their drunk friends. |
