Well I fully believe that we will be taking the fight to earth, but I really hope that Shepherd is not "dead" for the whole game, I don't like the idea of being undercover for the whole game, that would remove the Normandy, which I really would not like.
I don't know about the details of the plot, I need to play the first game through again (about 5 more times)
Oh, and for many Shepherds, it will not be the first time they have visited earth, it will be a homecoming (I can't remember whether or not it will be my Shepherd's...)
