you still need some physical device in combination with the camera. The only possible way I can see this working at all, consequently, is using it with the wii remote and nunchuck, since it's in two parts. If MS were to release something like this, it would either be a gimmick game like with the eyetoy, or would come with a remote / nunchuk like set up.
