asking Nintendo fan boy central which is the better game? lol its not even fair
most of these kids havent even played or know how to play Street fighter.
Aslo saying tekken is the greatest fighting game...shame on you, shame on you. i realy do have to admit that SSB is more balanced then tekken. Tekken does have a great fighting system but it is really unbalanced, full of unbalanced characters.
If you were to ask a old school gamer who knows how to play or has played SF then they'd say SF easily. SSB melee is great, SSB is even better imo and SSBB sucks balls!
If you look at many fighting games, they are the same thing but with updated graphics i.e. SSB meele, SSBB, tekken 1-2 4-6 (i assume 6 will be no different however 3 was revolutinoary) soul calibur 1-4, DOA, MK, King of fighters (sadly as much as i love KOF).
However all Street fighters are different from 1,2,alpha,3 and now 4 and from what critics have said and been saying they are all great and kings. SF2 does have like a milltion different expantions but they are still SF2 part of the SF2 games. same goes towards alpha, 3 and lol i asume 4 will be having these crazy add ons.
oh and i almost forgot marvel vs capcom which are great! sadly midway tried to do the same thing with MK and DC but failed so hardcore.
honestly people on these forms dont know much about fighters to really give a good debate, they just say smash because they are nintendo fanboys or they are just the generation that didnt grow up with SF but tekken, soul cal and smash.
IMO i'm really happy SF is back and is doing really well, i hope that it will spark a new interest in the new gen gamers and will become king in fighting games again......lol seems to be that way from what ive read and played.
