My main concern for a Pokemon RPG is pacing which coliseum and XD: Gale of Darkness had battles that felt like 15 to 20 minutes each, making it hard to prepare for major Cipher Admin or Team Snag'em battles. I hate grinding and I hate grinding when it's for animations that take a few seconds in the handheld games.

EDIT: I don't know but maybe it was the battle music, which is subpar to the handheld games, and always 2-on-2 battles in Colisseum that made them seem to drag on and on.  I liked both games though. Mirror B. and Venus are awesome.
