So Star Ocean PSP did 'abysmal', and yet it outsold the original game:

Star Ocean (SNES):

* 76,000 - First Week
* 176,000 - LTD

Star Ocean: First Departure (PSP Remake of SO1)

* 115,000 - First Week
* 205,000 - LTD

 

I didn't start this ridiculous argument (X360 vs. PSP), but anyone who thinks mainline SO game on PSP wouldn't destroy SO4 sales is delusional.
