Try starting a new game on hardest with no upgrades, than tell me if the game is still dull when ants are able to 1-2 shot and your rocket launcher you start with is now a joke and requires around 10 shots to kill 1 ant. Of course I'd recommend finding a friend to help you. I played on hardest from the beggining with a friend and wasted a good 10 hours to get to mission 5. After we got homing missiles and a super powerful sniper it wasn't as bad but still damn hard ><
