I'm not saying that GT5 will > 15M, but Ps3 will almost definitely > 44M.

Agreed, the people saying 15 million are more retarded then crazy but probably a touch of both.  GT5 will not do Mario Kart Wii numbers but I do expect an attach rate similar to that game. So if GT5 has an attach rate like Mario Kart Wii it would not reach 10 million now but of course install base in constantly increasing.
