It's 'meh' because as FPSs go it's years behind the curve in everything from artistry, to AI to gameplay. As Vagabond7 says it's not better (or doesn't look to be) than a PC FPS 5 or so years ago.
Having said that, I'd love a pure run and gun FPS for my Wii and I'll definately pick this up. However this won't convert any HD FPS fans and most FPS fans already own one of the HD systems or high-end PCs.
The Conduit, due to it's simple, pure gameplay may win over a lot of new Wii owners or lapsed gamers to the FPS experience though.
