Is true that the series is about the Sinistrals and the Dual Blade. But there is so much room to add new gameplay. There's no limitation for the timeline and design. the combat system can improve, the graphics, etc... Of course it needs an overhaul like any series.
The developers have the freedom to make this game in any way they want. As long as the core remains to make it feel like a Lufia game
