What aspect of Lufia do you think should revive in particular? Story? Characters? Battle system? Name only?
Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals was arguably one of the best RPGs on the Super Nintendo however the rest of the Lufia games, while not bad, were not the best of the proverbial bunch.
To revive this series on the Wii would not be so much of a revival as a complete overhaul. With the exception of the background storylines, it would be as though one were creating a brand new series, and unless there was an easily exploitable plothook in the Lufia universe besides "uh oh they're back..." it would be about the same.
Would it be pleasantly nostalgic? Yes.
Is there money to be made by reusing the Lufia name? Yes.
While I wouldn't mind a new Lufia, I bet it wouldn't be quite what some of those who played the original Estopolis games have in mind.
