Didn't Matt say that about Deadly Creatures too. Publishers are looking at any game for reference. I'm sure they'll take into account it's art style and extreme violence. I hope it doesn't sell too well. I'd hate 10 mediocore MadWorld clones.
The Conduit is the only game I think publisher should have any expectation to sell well, and it's still a new IP so 1m should be considered a solid hit.
