You need to go through Mt. Battle through Story Mode and go through each of the 100 battles WITHOUT leaving. That means from fight one to one-hundred. You can import your Pokemon from R/S/E/FR/LG in Story Mode to help ease the battles. And yes, you must purify all of your Shadow Pokemon for it to work.
