Sony - Sixaxis a mistake? - View Post

I've yet to play a game that the sixaxis was used in a good way, its just not good and I think it was a mistake from Sony. They knew the technology was promising but couldn't do it properly. While Nintendo did a home-run with the wii, they implemented the technology perfectly.

I think there are games that use it right.  As said previously, it should not be the main control mechanism for any game mechanic, but it can add to the overall experience.  I think Siren is a good example of a game where you need to shake the PS3 controller when someone grabs you to break free, this is much better than the typical "flick the left analog stick back and forth" that you are typically faced with.  Killzone 2 uses the sixaxis to turn valves, which is an improvement over the hit B to engage and repeatedly hit x to turn the valve that Gears uses.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.
