senortaco is right - EA is going to where the sales are and they can see that on rails is selling well on Wii. If they're cheaper and quicker to make then that's even better for third parties!
Finnbar is also right - The demographics that the HD consoles occupy just aren't going to go crazy for this and if the genre did take off it'd give Wii an even stronger market position.
Finally, I agree with Demotruk 100% - A broad library of titles is the most desirable thing that can happen and I hope that third parties get cracking with some of the underrepresented genres on Wii
