Number 7 - Melee Combat, I don't care how "heroic" your protagonist is, anyone who runs up to someone who is shooting them. Just to hit them with the butt of your rifle, punch them, or knife them is a idiot.
Number 6 - Helicopter Pilots, The concept is simple. The Rotation of your blades creates lift, tilt the helicopter slightly forward to move forward. Pivot slightly to move left and right, and tilt the helicopter backwards to move slightly back. Yet somehow people still manage to end up upside down ontop of that tard who is trying to melee the helicopter.
Number 5 - Alien Invasions, For some reason. The galaxy has a bone to pick with humanity. We must have offended someone somewhere, if it isn't for religious reasons, they want our resources, blood and everything we offer. Can't they just ask nicely? Oh I can see it now. Halo 4: Peace Talks.
Number 4 - Regeneration, This one just angers me. You can take a million hits to the torso, legs, arms, and who-knows what else. Wait a few seconds behind cover and HEAL. It's become so common now and it takes all the fun out of gaming. If your gonna run around flipping out like wolverine, at least have a valid reason for it.
Number 3 - World War 2, This has become so common now-a-days. Everyone loves a world war 2 shooter. Its become so common I'm amazed on how many people STILL don't know the political, cultural, and economic impact that world war 2 had upon the world. You'll think we're all be world war 2 scholars at this point by now.
Number 2 - Vehicles, Everything needs tanks. Don't have a tank? Not interested. Honestly, when does every battle have the resources to bring out the heavy weapons on a consistent basis? Just for them to be nonchalantly blown up while the hero rages on against the machine. Literally.
Number 1 - Modern, Ya know. For once. I'll like to see a Fantasy First Person Shooter. I've seen two so far. That one that came out not too long ago of which I forgot it's name, and a Counter-strike Mod. They are so few and far in between I can't even remember their names. Maybe I need to get out more, but no one seems to be zapping each other with magic anymore.
Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?
