"If the game was specialized for the Wii hardware, they could have made the exact same game for Wii as the final 360 product."

What? The Wii has at most 1/4th of the system resources. There is no way a game can be the exact same game as a 360 game unless it's really poorly done.

The Wii is strong, but not that strong, no matter how much you want it to.

Just look at the 2nd video in the op.

Wii is fully capable of a vast mall scenario with loads of bad guys all operating differently IF the game was tooled specifically with Wii's hardware in mind, ground up. The difference here is this was originally tooled with 360's hardware in mind which is vastly more powerful.

Of course the Wii game wouldn't be in HD and would be missing minor technologies in graphics it is not capable, of. But, essentially the same exact game could be made on Wii. Same environment, same number of AI, same weapons, etc.

Another example of the difference in tooling was RE4. On GC it ran perfectly and looked fantastic, as it also did on Wii. However, on PS2 it was noticeable worse in graphics and gameplay. Yet, then you look at God of War 2. That game is prettier imo than RE4 with mostly other simularities. While we know GC was technically more powerful than PS2, if RE4 had been ground up built for PS2 there would be no distiguishable differences between the two versions.
