Ninty was there since the early 80's, saved the gaming industry in the US in 1985, aimed to everybody for the first time in 1989, had the first rough war in the early 90's, lost almost all big 3rd party support in the late 90's, had a massive restructuring afterwards, and now they changed gaming controlling as we know it and did a more than successful aiming to everybody, all of this without losing a dime... So congratz Nintendo for your half billion shipment, with this kind of history i'm sure that you will get to the billion mark...
And don't compare it to Sony, Microsoft, Sega or another one unless the comparison is fair (consoles vs consoles, handhelds vs handhelds and the period of time has to match)...
