If there are no moogles or animal characters or other cutsie stuff in FF XIII I'll be very, very delighted. Those features have always kinda dragged it down for me, epic sagas with conspiracies, royalty on the run, high magic and monsters from the deepest abyss and then they throw fucking teddybears and shit in there?! 
Its time the FF series grew up a little, moving forward could lend it some much needed fresh air.
Of course, this is my opinion, I know that my ex, among other enjoy these furry critters and somewhat childlike aspects of the games but I'm getting quite tired of them.
